Henry Kendall High Guitar Legends Take Over Six Strings — Showcase Recap!
On December 3rd, something magical happened at Six String Brewery… and no, it wasn’t just me ordering chips twice because I forgot I already ordered chips.
It was Showcase Night — the big one — featuring a bunch of incredibly talented guitar students from Henry Kendall High School. And let me tell you… these legends absolutely smashed it out of the park.
I’m talking big smiles, loud strings, proud parents, and the kind of energy that makes you think, “Yep, the next generation of rockstars is sorted.”
Every single student stepped up, plugged in, and delivered performances that would’ve made even the grumpiest sound tech crack a smile. Watching them nail their parts — riffs, chords, solos, and all — honestly gave me goosebumps.
(Or maybe that was just the brewery’s air-con / fans! Either way… very emotional.)
I couldn’t have been prouder. These guys have been putting in the hard work: the scales, the practice routines, the “wait… what chord is this again?” moments. And seeing all that effort come alive on stage was just unreal.
A massive thank-you to Six String Brewery for hosting us — the perfect vibe, the perfect stage, the perfect excuse for me to say things like, “Okay one more song… or maybe two.”
